Beta conditions¶
This page summarises how the HodeiShield beta works. The binding conditions are the beta terms published on hodeishield.com: if this page and the terms differ, the terms prevail.
Start and duration¶
- The beta starts on 2 November 2026, the first day on which an organization can be enrolled.
- It lasts 3 calendar months from your organization's acceptance (its enrolment). The end falls on the same day of the month, at the same time (Europe/Madrid), three months later; if that month has no such day, on its last day. An organization accepted on 2 November 2026 is in the beta until 2 February 2027.
- It has no cost for the participant while it lasts.
- Applications are open until 31 December 2026.
- The planned limit is 15 MSSP partners, each able to bring up to 3 client tenants, plus 10 direct companies. This limit may be extended if there is demand.
- The days left are shown on the Beta button in the console's top bar.
What the beta includes¶
While your organization's beta is running, its tenants get everything included: the module set and limits of the Enterprise tier, the MCP server and the CLI among them. Your commercial plan does not change, and when the beta ends the access of your plan applies again.
If your provider is an MSSP in the beta, your organization inherits its beta. There is no service level agreement during the beta: see Support during the beta for the channel and the reply target.
End-of-beta notices¶
The administrators of your organization receive an email 14 days and another 3 days before the beta ends, and the Beta button changes colour on those same days. If your provider is an MSSP, the notices point you to your provider, not to Hodeitek.
When the beta ends¶
- To continue on a paid plan, write to info@hodeitek.com: we will send you an offer and activate your licence. The conversion is a sales contact, not an online payment.
- The first year carries the discount registered on your organization: 25 % for completing the beta, plus 10 % for a testimonial or case study.
- To have your data exported or deleted, write to Hodeitek under the beta terms: see Your data: export and deletion.
Known limitations¶
These are the limits you will meet during the beta. Each one is either being fixed or not yet available; none changes the conditions above.
- Endpoint agent on a fresh Mac. The package of agent versions 2.14.0 and 2.14.1 fails to install on a Mac where the agent was never installed. The fix is planned for 2.14.2. See the known issue in the agent guide.
- Evidence sources. Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Workspace, Azure and Google Cloud appear in the catalogue as planned: none has a collector yet, so you cannot connect them today. The alert destinations are available. See Connectors.
- CLI on macOS. The macOS binary is not signed or notarized yet, so the first run may be blocked: allow it with Open Anyway in System Settings › Privacy & Security. See the CLI guide.
