Cookies and local storage

This page covers the documentation site (docs.hodeishield.com). The console and the commercial website have their own notices: see Your data.

What the site stores without asking

Only what the site needs to work, in your browser's local storage:

• your choice in the cookie notice, so it does not ask again;
• your light or dark theme preference.

It holds no personal data and is not sent to any server.

What needs your permission

Interactive Storylane demos, embedded in some product pages. Storylane is a third party that sets its own cookies and measures demo usage. Without your permission the demo does not load: you see a static screenshot and a button to watch it live. When you accept, the demo loads from Storylane.

What the site does not do

The site includes no analytics or advertising tools and, for now, has no "was this helpful?" rating. If one that collects data were added, it would appear here and in the cookie notice as a category you decide on, and it would not load before you accepted it.

Changing your decision

Press Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the notice and accept or reject again.
